~CaseRO Rules!~
Hi all! I'll try to make these rules as short and sweet as possible, without losing clarity. Feel free to mention something that is unclear!
Remember! Rules are in place so that everyone can have fun!~ It only takes 1 bad apple to ruin the barrel!
Identity:
1) Do not impersonate any GM, and/or player for abuse will be punished.
2) Remember to keep names clean and acceptable to everyone!
3) If a GM does not want to be revealed, it is punishable for revealing his identity, or making claims of such. If he allows it, no punishment shall follow.
Accounts, Gears, Trades, And Lost Items:
1) GMs will consider cases of hacking and gear loss, ONLY if the account is owned by 1 owner, and 1 owner alone. In any case with shared accounts, GMs will not replace your gear.
2) Sharing gears is done at your own risk. We do not encourage it in any manner. In short, DO NOT SHARE GEARS or ACCOUNTS.
3) In any case where a trade is agreed upon, and parts of the trade agreement have been carried out, the full agreement must be carried through by both parties.
- In a case when the full agreement was not carried out, a screen shot must be provided of the agreement, else GM intervention cannot occur.
- If the desired items were not traded properly, ie. A player was scammed using a look alike item, punishments shall follow only if original trade agreement can be provided.
Macros, Outside Programs, and GRFs:
1) All GRF edits, on the basis of reducing lag, will be allowed.
2) Any GRF that effects gameplay, or skill mechanics, specifically nodelay.grfs will not be allowed.
3) The use of ROMEDIC shall be allowed.
4) The use of RCX shall be allowed.
5) The use of AHK to spam a skill shall be allowed in WoE, and ONLY in WoE.
- The use of AHK or any method of botting to farm and avoid players who try to detect you, or any other method in order to change gameplay outside of WoE, will be punished.
- Botting includes any method of farming while AFK (away from keyboard). If your character is farming, and does not respond when given a PM, punishments will be given.
Vending:
1) Players must use the Sign Posts to vend, inside the vending area.
2) Follow the rules on the sign post.
3) Specifically, vending incorrect items is not allowed.
For example: Do not vend Sunglasses[0] at 60 token, trying to mirror a Sunglasses[1].
4) Do not use bad words or foul language in your Vend Store.
MVP and Mobs:
1) Kill-Stealing is not allowed. Please use @noks to stop this if you are troubled.
2) MVPs, including minibosses, are FREE FOR ALL. That is to say anyone can kill-steal it.
3) Griefing others or Mob dropping when killing an MVP or Mob is not allowed by any player.
- Griefing is by definition: the act of insignificantly damaging an MVP in order to cause it to teleport, buffing an MVP, luring mobs onto the attacking party, or any other activity that prevents both parties from killing the MVP.
- Evidence of this should be provided if Griefing is occuring, either screen shot or video.
1) Spamming/Flooding is not allowed on these channels.
2) Reasonable repetition of vending lists is acceptable.
3) Please keep reasonable conversations on these channels; unreasonable behavior will be given a warning. Then, punishments will be given.
Battlegrounds:
1) Do not by any means leech battlegrounds, ie. using multiclients.
2) Do not support opposing team.
3) Do not impede your own team.
4) Do not by any means avoid an afk timer. If you have to afk, please join again afterwards.
Forum Rules:
1) Trolling of any kind in a serious subforum (Specifically Suggestions subforum) will not be tolerated! If you find your post questionable, please do not post it.
2) Use good manners when posting, and be friendly.
*There will be no real money trades, not for gear, not for accounts. Nothing can be sold for real money between players.*
*Advertisement of any other server will not be tolerated.*
GMs reserve the right to change any of these rules at any moments notice. If changed, rules are considered in immediate effect.
Punishments:
1) The first offense will result in a warning, usually coupled either with Mute or Jail for a short amount of time (< 1hour).
2) The second offense will lead to a temporary ban of the account for 1 day, and removal of the improperly aquired items if necessary.
3) The third offense will lead to a permanent ban of the account, and any method of compensation deemed necessary by the GM team to the aflicted parties.
4) The fourth offense will lead to permanent bans of all accounts across the IP address.
*In severe offenses, punishments do not necessarily have to follow as shown.*
Please understand that rules are there to better the game for everyone. The GM team has no intention of limiting what a player can explore, only that others should not be harmed by it. Enjoy CaseRO!~
